Inspiration for designs on 3d Max

Above the idea of a 'Circular Nation' extruding shapes from the circular form to represent the shapes of buildings.

Above is one of the images the informed the basis of what I was trying, mimicking the shapes created within the wooden structures. this was simply created using the extrude tool.

Slides from powerpoint presentation, looking at images that have inspired me to create 3d models. Working on the theme of a 'Pixel-Nation', I want to create small 3d models of small cities, focusing on structure and the look of pixelation.

Using the Mirror and Extrude tool

I found these tools very useful, especially the extrude tool. I really want to experiment with the extrude tool as it can create some nice effects. Really want to experiment with this in my own designs in 3ds Max outside of class.
